The BIG SIGNAL 2BS-2 is a 2-element full-wave directional Quad antenna for VHF / 144 MHz, designed to provide an excellent combination of gain, directivity, and portability.
Compact, lightweight, and quick to deploy, it is especially well suited for portable operation, SOTA activations, terrestrial DX, and amateur satellite communications, in both FM and weak-signal modes.

Una antena de la que puedes decir "...si no lo veo, no me lo creo..." después de haberla puesto a prueba en diferentes localizaciones, puedo manifestar que tiene un desempeño fantástico y con un ruido muy muy bajo.
Fácil de transportar y más fácil de montar. Con respecto al montaje, recomendaría a BigSignal que revise la sujeción del director con el coaxial porque los tornillos son ridículamente pequeños y muy débiles; se me antoja pensar que en pocas jornadas de montaje y desmontaje en salidas portables ese punto de sujeción saltará inevitablemente. Con el resto de la construcción, nada que decir porque lo he podido ver suficientemente resistente, pero sin llegar a ser material que no se deteriore en pocos meses, sabiendo que esta antena se publicita como herramienta para salidas portables / QRP donde precisamente el número de montajes y desmontajes marcará seguramente la fecha de rotura de la 2BS-2.
En definitiva, que la 2BS-2 es una muy buena antena monobanda VHF y que está por encima de muchas antenas verticales y Yagui que actualmente están con precios superiores. Si BigSignal corrige el diseño de sujeción del coaxial con el elemento director para evitar roturas tempranas, sin lugar a dudas estaríamos delante de una de las mejores antenas VHF del mercado para ámbito portable y activaciones.
