The BIG SIGNAL SlimLoop is more than just compact. It’s the result of a unique design developed to maximize performance in space-restricted installations—without giving up DX capability.
With a maximum width of just 3.4 meters (11.15 ft) at the top, it can be easily installed in virtually any space-limited QTH. Thanks to its closed-loop design, field testing has shown better performance and gain compared to basic antennas such as End-Fed (EFHW), random wires, or loaded verticals—while also delivering significantly lower noise and improved signal-to-noise ratio on receive.
IMPORTANT: Antenna tuner required
The SlimLoop requires an antenna tuner for operation across most bands from 40 to 6 meters.
Best performance is achieved between 20 and 6 meters, where the antenna operates very efficiently for DX and general operation. On 40 meters, performance remains acceptable considering its compact size, and can still deliver surprising results under favorable conditions.
In a typical installation, SWR ranges from 1.5:1 to 5,0:1, which is normal for a compact multiband antenna and easily matched with a tuner.

Llevo poco tiempo utilizando esta antena para HF, pero desde el primer momento he notado una diferencia muy importante respecto a la antena vertical D original que tenía.
La instalé en un edificio donde el espacio disponible es muy reducido, y para este tipo de instalaciones me parece una solución excelente. Uno de los aspectos que más me ha sorprendido es su bajísimo nivel de ruido, incluso estando en pleno centro de la ciudad. Gracias a ello puedo escuchar señales muy débiles que antes pasaban desapercibidas o apenas eran inteligibles.
La utilizo con un acoplador y admite hasta 500 W de potencia en picos, lo que ofrece un buen margen de funcionamiento.
En FT8 he notado una mejora clara: realizo más contactos porque ahora escucho mejor y, al mismo tiempo, mi señal llega con más facilidad. En mi experiencia, ha supuesto un cambio sustancial y estoy muy satisfecho con la compra.
