Tengo esta antena instalada desde 03/2023. Anteriormente tenia instalada una delta loop multibanda con acoplador CG3000 en la base del mástil con bastante buen rendimiento.
El cambio ha sido bastante radical, el nivel de ruido, que con la anterior ya no era muy alto, ha bajado de forma muy significativa, me permite escuchar señales muy bajas con comodidad y lo mejor es que a mi tambien me escuchan. Utilizo en IC 7300 y con el acoplador interno me permite trabajar desde 80m hasta 4m. He podido hacer contactos con zonas del mundo que anteriormente ni podía escuchar, resumiendo, un rendimiento excelente y disfrutando muchísimo de esta antena.
La tengo instalada sobre un mástil telescópico de 9 m arriostrado y observándola en días de fuerte viento se ve muy segura.

Sigo maravillado con esta antena. Hoy he cruzado el charco en 50 MHz (con acoplador) contactando con PY y LU. En el resto de bandas de 10 a 20 metros, después de casi dos años sigue la ROE por debajo de 1,5 y donde más sigo notando la diferencia con la vertical que tenía antes es en el ruido. No pasa de 5-6 en el peor de los casos (vivo en una ciudad).
Estoy encantado con el rendimiento, sin ROE, sin necesidad de usar el acoplador. Menos QRM y mejor recepción que mi anterior antena. Trabajo mucho en QRP, la estrené con un contacto en fonia con tan solo 5 W. de potencia con la expedición de Gambia (C5) y me escucho alto y claro a la primera...
Que decir de esta antena,un solo elemento y el rendimiento bestial,unas señales tremendas,me quite la COBWEB
autoconstruida y me puse la 1BS-5B y madre mia que diferencia,ademas el QRM,casi inexistente desde luego es lo
mejorcito en antenas de un solo elementos y 5 Bandas,ah ROE,brilla por su ausencia lo maximo 1.3 en 28 Mhz y sobre todo tambien el ancho de banda cubre con creces las espectativas de todo Radioaficionado.
Bueno que decir del aguante al viento la tengo a 15 metros de altura se doblaba un poco si pero al ser la fibra de calidad volvia al sitio otra vez,aguantado al 100,ah y en la banda de 40 y 60 metros acoplaba con un rendimiento
bastante aceptable,sobre todo en 60 Mtrs,materiales todo ok,este año le pedire a Juan Pedro el reflector y ha hacer DX
os la recomiendo...
Es una maravilla de antena. En el entorno ruidoso que tengo en la ciudad, antes con la vertical, el ruido no bajaba de 7-8. Ahora con DX-Quad, en función de la orientación, día, hora y banda, el ruido ha bajado entre 2-5 puntos. Respecto a la ROE, olvidaros del acoplador, siempre entre 1 y 1,5. En definitiva, una magnífica antena para los vivimos en la ciudad.
