BIG SIGNAL 12BS-70
12-Element Cubical Quad for High-Performance 432 MHz / 70 cm Operation
The BIG SIGNAL 12BS-70 is a 12-element long-spacing directional Cubical Quad developed for operators looking for high gain, strong directivity, and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio on the 432 MHz band.
Its architecture based on full-wave closed-loop elements delivers outstanding performance in a surprisingly compact package, making it an excellent choice for terrestrial DX, SSB, digital modes, satellite communications, and weak-signal operation.
Band: 432 MHz / 70 cm
Type: Directional monoband Cubical Quad
Elements: 12 full-wave elements
Configuration: Long spacing
Applications: DX / SSB / digital modes / satellites / weak signals
Design: High gain and directivity with a compact boom
Why Choose the BIG SIGNAL 12BS-70?
• 12 Full-Wave Elements
The Cubical Quad geometry uses full-wave closed-loop elements, designed to provide high electrical efficiency and make excellent use of every element in the array.
• High Gain from a Compact Boom
Its 12-element long-spacing configuration provides strong directional performance while maintaining remarkably compact dimensions for an antenna in this class.
• Excellent Signal-to-Noise Ratio
The closed-loop elements characteristic of a Cubical Quad can provide cleaner reception in the presence of certain types of electrical noise, an especially valuable advantage when working signals near the reception threshold.
• Directivity for Weak-Signal Operation
Its directional pattern concentrates transmitted and received energy toward the desired direction, helping to reduce signals and interference arriving from other directions.
• Ideal for Terrestrial DX and Satellite Communications
Its combination of gain, directivity, and compact dimensions makes it an especially attractive choice for SSB, digital modes, UHF DX, satellite communications, and weak-signal stations.
• Excellent Size-to-Performance Ratio
Its element geometry makes it possible to achieve high performance without requiring an excessively large structure, simplifying installation on towers and rotator systems.
• Quick and Easy Assembly
The elements are supplied preassembled to reduce assembly time and simplify installation without complex mechanical adjustments.
A Different Alternative to the Traditional Yagi
The BIG SIGNAL 12BS-70 uses a different architecture from a conventional Yagi. Its full-wave closed-loop elements combine gain, directivity, and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio in a compact structure specifically designed for the 70 cm band.
• 12 full-wave elements.
• High gain and directivity.
• Excellent size-to-performance ratio.
• Especially suitable for weak-signal operation.
• Designed for terrestrial DX and satellite communications.
• Compact construction for high-performance installations.
When Signals Are Weak, Every Decibel Counts.
The BIG SIGNAL 12BS-70 was developed for operators who want to take their 432 MHz station to the next level: high gain, strong directivity, and outstanding performance in a compact package.

When IO-117 covers the United States, I usually can't hear it until it's at least 10 degrees elevation. And I usually can't hit the satellite on transmit until it's nearly 20 degrees. With the new antenna, I heard and hit the satellite at about 3 degrees elevation.
Excelente!!
Hi my name is Marco. I bought this model for curiosity quad antenna Compared yaghi 16 elements boom 3 meters. In most cases the received signal is the same. in my opinion, the positive sides are: low noise, less boom lenght , better f/b and back then yagi good construction. The attention of the manufacturer in providing work gloves was greatly appreciated
